I'm Bjorn Sollie, founder of Valdspore.

My fascination with nature started young long before I understood what functional mushrooms even were.

Growing up, I spent most of my free time outdoors, wandering forests across Europe. I kept coming back to the same quiet realization: mushrooms have been part of this earth longer than almost anything else, quietly shaping the ecosystems around them.

The more time I spent among them, the more I believed nature already figured out whatever strength we're looking for we just have to know where to look.

That curiosity became years of personal research and forest walks, and a deep respect for what nature can offer when left undisturbed.

Valdspore grew out of that. Not a brand built around a trend, but an attempt to do one thing properly: extract what's genuinely valuable from functional mushrooms, without cutting corners.

Today, that same curiosity drives us forward. Our goal isn't to chase every mushroom on the market it's to go deep, one species at a time.
